Špičák Ski Resort, located in the heart of the Šumava, is a popular destination for all winter sports enthusiasts. With 16 slopes of various difficulty levels and modern facilities, it offers great opportunities for both skiing and snowboarding.
And if you ever get tired of the local mountains, just 10 minutes from the Czech border is the well-known Velký Javor (Grosser Arber) ski resort, which is the highest mountain in the Bavarian Forest where you can enjoy the true Alpine atmosphere.
Running tracks from short to long
Lovers of cross-country skiing will appreciate several cross-country skiing trails near our resort - from short, which are from 3 km, to long ones of up to 28 km. The trails are regularly groomed for a perfect skiing experience.
Ski school
No professional has fallen from the sky and that is why you can choose from several ski schools in the surroundings of the Horal resort. These offer courses not only for children but also for adults. Near our OREA Resort Horizont in Šumava there is a ski equipment rental right in the ski resort Špičák. You can also rent a sledge or snowshoes there. You can also rent equipment for the slopes at the rental shop on Grosser Arber.
