Loket
The town of Loket stretches out on a prominent rock promontory with a magnificent Romanesque castle, which is also the most visited local monument. Directly below the castle, you can visit the Baroque-modified, late Gothic Church of St. Wenceslas, and a little further on the square, the Baroque column of the Holy Trinity.
In the romantic surroundings of the castle grounds, there is a unique natural amphitheater, where various cultural events, theater and opera performances, concerts, and festivals take place against the mysterious backdrop of the illuminated castle. If you continue further along the river to the park, a reward for you, especially for your little ones, will be a natural children's playground where children of all age groups can have fun.
How about renting a canoe, raft, or kayak and going down the Ohře river to Karlovy Vary? Loket offers several boat rentals and all the necessary equipment, treat yourself to a bit of family adventure amongst forests and rocks.
